Meditation timer

Sit in silence. A bell begins and ends your time.

No guided voice, no background music, no streak pressure. Just the time you choose, a bell you like, and a soft circle that breathes with you.

How it feels

Four seconds in, six seconds out.

The circle swells for four seconds and settles for six, a calm rhythm you can follow or ignore. Each bell sends a ripple outward, and a thin ring fills as your time passes.

  • 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes
  • Interval bell every 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes, or none
  • Singing bowl, gong, copper bell or soft ding, tap to hear each
  • A 10 or 30 second settle-in before the first bell
  • Pause any time, end early, and see your total time in stillness

Timer questions

Do the bells play when my phone is on silent?

Yes. The bells play even with the silent switch on, and they mix with any music you already have playing instead of stopping it.

What are interval bells for?

An interval bell rings softly every 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Many people use it as a reminder to notice where the mind has gone and return to the breath, or to switch technique halfway through a sit.

Is the meditation timer free?

Yes, the meditation timer is part of the free Yolgi plan.
